Salt it well with Comon salt
and let it ly a day or 2. then
take that brine & salt clean away
and mix together 1 pound Comon
Salt 2 oz: Salt peter 3/4 tt sugar
rub it in well and let lay 3 weeks
on the back & bast it 2 or 3
times a day ^ with a spoon then put it in
paper & dry it
