Take make Sweet meat

Take one pound of Doble
refined Suger and Beat it Small
and Sherch it very Fine then
take one grane of Musk & beat
it Small so mixt it with your
Suger then take 1 penny worth
of rose water put to halfpenny
of Gum Dragon set them
The ^Rose water & Gum to the fire
til they are dissolved then
take the Rose wather & Gum
& mixt it with your Suger till it
be a paste so role it in small
rols and set it Dry. If you have
a mind to have it Red take
Scuchingel and Allome &
mixt it with some of your Paste
