Juyce of Pippins Pareings & all & the same quantity of Juyce
of Borag Flowers make them being mixed into a syrope & ther
with sweeten all his Julapes he takes
For a sore mouth or thrush or any inflamation Dr Coxe
Six sponfuls of Plantaine two of red rose water then take the
white of a new layd egge beaten to froth adde therto white
suger candy once in an Hower wash with a spoonful of it
Another by Dr Coxe for a sore Mouth
The middle bark of an Elme 2 ounces 3 pints of water boyle
it to the consumption of halfe or one pint gargle therwith
your mouth & throat
To preuent Miscarying
A good sponfuls of cloves halfe a pint of claret the like of
Plantaine water & of red rose water boyle them til they look
red of the cloves take a spoonful of the liquor night &
morning & lay the cloves to the navel
For the Mother & Spleen
Take 15 or 20 drops of spirit of Hartshorne euery night
& morning a week together in a spoonful or two of this
folowing Julape
Bawm & Pennyroyal water each a q t r of a pint Hysterical
water & syrope of July Flowers each 2 ounces mixe them
& if need be a dram of spirit of castor
For the Mother
Conserve of the leaves of Rue or the Tree Lignum vitte is most
available wher it is not to strong take of either 9 mornings before the
ful & 3 before the chang of the moon
