handfuls the same of Rosemary leaves & Flowers
the same of sage 2 handfuls of lawrel seeds all
thes must be brused in a marble morter in 3 pound
of oyl of nutts in a clean Kettle cover it well
& let them infuse 24 howers then boyle them our
a stil fire untel the Herbs be Black then straine them
thurow a Hollow Rag like canvis this Juyce must be
put in a clean Kittle & boyld ouer a stil fire always
stiring it with a wooden stick & adde to it two
ounces of oyl of spike 2 ounces of venes Turpentine
half a pound of new Bees wax a pound of Rosin stir
it tel it be like past with you may know by Droping
some upon a plate always stir it & put it in earthen
potts very smooth the older the Better the vertues folow

in luke warm water & wine all paines in the Head anoynting
the Temples it cures Deafness if not natural by Droping
some into the ears & stoping it with cotton cures paines in
the stomach & vomitting helps Disgestian anoynting & laying
warm Flannel the womes in children anoynting
ther Bellys paines & Aches any where vlcers in the
Leggs or else wher tho never so old venomous Bittings
washing the place with wine & laying on the Balm
upon Lint to cause vrin anoynting the Belly &
Reines & for searica & all cold causes
