A good quantity of milk thickned with Flower set it on the
fire keeping it stiring chop in a Handful of smalage lay it on
as hot as can be suffered it will give presant ease

A poltis to disolve Break & draw any swelling & for a sore Brest
A pint of very thick cream when it begins to boyle thicken it
with fine wheat Flower keep it string put to it the quantity
of 2 walnutts of bees wax 2 sponfuls of Hony 3 or 4 of salet oyl
red Rose water 2 spoonfuls Apply it as hot as can be suffered
if the swelling be red boyle in the cream before you thicken it
a handfuls of mallows chopt dress it one in i2 howers this will
keep a fortnight

To disolve break & draw any Hard swelling & for a sore breast

Grounds of Ale boyle in it Figg dust or smal oatmeal when it
comes to a poltis put to it some castle sope stir them well together
spread it on brown paper apply it hot dress it night & morning

To strengthen the stomach

Powder of the inward skin of the Gizards of a Henn
for a man & of a cock for a woman give as much
as will lye on a shilling in any Liquor first & last

Three ounces of the Conserve of the leaves of garden
scirvie grass new made 2 ounces of conserve of
Fumatory Flowers candied oringoes cittron pel orang
chipps of each an ounce fresh Juyce of scirvie grass
as much as will make all thes into an electuary take
as much as a nuttmeg night & morning

For Scabbs to cure them in 5 days

Plantaine water & rose water each a pint oreng Flower water halfe a pint
put to thes sublimatum [?:i:] beaten in powder boyle it a quarter of an hower
keep it in a glasse when it is cold wash the scabbs let it dry in of it selfe
wash it only each other day doe it 3 times in all skiping a day the first
time it will fetch them out the 3d will dry them up
