take as much as a Hazelnutt first last

For wind in the stomach

Oyl of wormwood & of mastick & thime each 2 ounces 4
drops of vineger halfe a spoonful of Aquacomposita as
much white wax as a walnutt boyle thes til the wax
be disolved str put it into some clean pot anoynt
your stomach night & morning before the fire

For a Swelling in the Legs thighs or codds

Henbane & rue each a handful new sheeps Dung a
Cawserful stamp them together boyle them in
good viniger with halfe a sawceekful of Bean
Flower stir them til they be thick make therof
a plaster lay to the swelling

Melliot salve or Plaster to disolve a swelling or draw break it

melliot & camomile each one handful rosin 2 pound wax i2 ounces
plantaine Dittany each one handful rosin 2 pound wax i2 ounces
sheeps suit tryed a pound a pint of whit wine let all thes boyle
with continual stiring til the Herbs grow crisp then strain it
into an earthen pann when it is cold heat the pann so as to
make it slip out

The Rows of red Herrings dryed in an ouen after Bread & serced
into fine Powder one spoonful in a pennypot of whitewine night &
morning

Captain Greens Red Plaster for a Fistula or any other Sore
in the Breast or elce where

Oyle olive halfe a pint 4 ounces of Red lead i ounce of white
Lead 3 ounces of Bolar monake beat & serce all thes together
put them into the oyl on the stiring it & when you find
it plaster thick put to it halfe an ounce of oyl of exiter

White coperis 4 ounces camphir an ounce beat thes both
severaly put the camphir first into a little black cup put
the coperis upon it cover the cup with a paper & a
cawcer & lay on a weight set the cup into a chaffing dish
of smal cole keep a soft fire to it for 3 or 4 howers & in
that time it will be hard enough to take out of the pot with
out breaking the pot then beat it with 4 ounces of Bolarmonake
beat them & serce them together make it up in ounce & halfe
ounce papers one ounce will make a pottle of water put it in the
water to warme & scald not boyle put it in a glasse towarms settle
when you vse it warm it blood warme twice a day the green
plaster next it & cace of great paine the Red ouer the green
