Some men hold an opinion that the infection of the plague ingendreth
and proceedethe from the corrupted & infested ayre and vapors of the
Earthe: It may well soe be for accordinge as the people here on earthe
are dispased, soe are the heavenlie bodies aboue nicly [nee], with erly
you in ay by good reason precyve, that of good and vertuous livinge
comethe grace and goodnes, and contrarie wise of a sinfull and
wicked life comethe shame, Sorrowe sicknes and vengeance
As appeared at the delugeof Noes flod wher all the world
[was] drowned for sinne except eyght persons What man
liveinge can remember that ever sinne was vsed in soe greate
abymination, soe supported clearelye without correction as
now, insoemuch as it is verie offensive and do stable to all
good people that feare & love God. And therfore noe mer
bayle [your] the wrathe of God be powred downe from heaven
vppon men, and that he [done] [prisit] them with the infection
of the plague and many other informities and niseries
