136. {My Mother.} Take Colesfoot, Red Rose Leaues, Burnett, Betony and Comfrey Rootes of each a handfull, p[i]cke & wash them cleane & flue the Rootes, boyle them all in a pottle of water to a Quart, then straine it & putt to a pound of Sugar, & boile it to a Syrrup, drinke it first in the morning, & last at night, 6 Spoonfulls at a time.
