Sir

We have an account from Deal that
our privateers have brought in there above
30 sail of Dans and Hamburgh shipps Laden
with Contra band Goods for France as pitch,
Tarr, hemp and other navall stores -

Brit [...] Commodore or Admi-
rall of the [...] them for the Kings
use upon which the owners of the privateer
applyed themselves to the Lords of the Admiralty
who upon hearing the matter at a full
board ordered an express to be sent away
yesterday to the Admiral to Redeliver
the said shipps to the Privateers with all
the papers and every thing else he had
taken from them and to of the said Danish
Fleet have escaped into Dunkerk their
convoy haveing sunk a privateer that
made after them -

The house of peers yesterday
agreed to an address to recommend their speaker
Sir Robert Atkins to his Maiestie without Men=
=cioning any particulars leaveing it to his
Maiestie hopeing that he will conferr on him the place
of Master of the Rolls vacant by the death of the
Honorable Mr Powell ~

It is said Mr Rimera celebrated Poet
