- the Lords yesterday reassumed the debate of calling the
Attorney Generall to their Assistance and appointed a
Committee to search precedents in the Case but a noble peer
said that though it had been practised in former time yet
he could not tell whether the king did it ex gratia they
had power to summon his Attendance and Moreover belie
ved it was done when he was no member of the house
of Commons as he now is and that there is a
precedent in the Like Case upon which tis thought the
matter will drop
