Edenbrough January the 14o nevell Paine -

soldier understanding it gave notice thereof upon
which the said Paine & an Officer who Complotted ~
with him are Confined to a Dungeon - we have -
advice that a Dutch Caper in his la way lately
towards Leith met a ffrench ship laden with provisions~
for the Bass & with the Caper tooke & brought into -
Leith road-

Falmouth 16o instant a Collyer being -
taken by a ffrench. privateer & coming about the -
Lands end foundred but the men got ashoare in
their Long boate & are brought hither prisoners

By the Garland frigot & some other
ships come into the Downes the Lords of the -
Admiralty had yesterday advice that the Sweeds &
Danes are lading 150 saile of ships with Navall
stores for France upon which their Lordships haue ordered
the Chatham Larke & other frigots to saile & intercept
them

- Divers other books & papers besides that aforesaid of a pernicious tendancy besides that aforesaid were mencioned in
the house of Commons that had the Imprimatur to them & spake against the Bishop of Sarum's Pastorall Letter
Dr Sherlocks disus distinction upon the Oath but had they not given a check to their debates they
would have let them selves into more business then they could have gone through so the latter last
matter fell - This day the House. of Comons after reading some private bills whe went upon
