Affairs of Consequence was before their Consi
deracion especially the Concern of the going
of the Turkey ffleet upon some Advices that
are come of the ffrench Mouements to
reinforce the Thoulon Squadron and
we must not pretend to give the result

The Judges were called in &
had a Charge given them to regulate them
selves upon their Severall Circuits which
I am told was very positive to put the
Lawes in Execucion against all papists
Iacobites and other disturbers of the peace
of the Kingdom

The Sherriffs of London haue
signifyed that they will proceed to an
Eleccion of a member of parliament in place
of Sir William Turmur deceased on next
Thursday at Guildhall

I hear Mr Adam Banks dra=
=per In Wattling street hath been tryed and
Convicted this sessions for disperting a sham
Speech of the Kings which the Iacobites had
formed and printed to ridicule the Government

The Lords of the Admiralty haue
received an Account: by a person that Lately come
out of Dunkirk that there are 120 Swee
dish and Danish Shipps Laden with Navall
Stores for Brest So soon as they can gett
