Translation

Huitzilopochtli has arrived. This will be his home and he shall be cherished so that we may live on earth together."

When Tlaloc had spoken so, they went to see the cactus fruit the others had seen. Then they swept the ground under the cactus fruit and there made and earth altar.

Xomimitl passed the time there, where they met the Tlacateccatl from Colhuacan. They brought him over and when they had done so they laid him, still alive, at the center of the earth altar. He was Chichilcuahuitl, the Tlacateccatl of Colhuacan. It was the year two tecpatl when they placed him at the center of the earth altar.
