Polytechnic Sta. Tex.
Nov. 19th, 1929

My dear Mrs. Lake

I certainly thank you very, very
much for your kind remembrance of me on my 85th,
birthday. I know I shall derive much pleasure and
profit, too, in reading "The New Decalogue of Science."
I am always interested in knowing what the writers
of to-day have to say on subjects that are of
vital interest, and which show the trend of public
thought and feeling. The Harper's is very valuable in
this respect, and every time I read any article
in it, I think of the kindness and good-will of
a friend, who has made it possible for me to do so.

I think now I can go out any time, if it is not
too late. I was out at the "Lake" a few days ago,
but found absolutely nothing.

Praying God's richest blessings upon you and
yours, I am

Sincerely yours,
Albert Ruth.
