---------SPECIFICATIONS------------

For repairs on the School Buildings of the City of Fort Worth Texas.
The work to be done comprises various and sundry repairs to be made on all
the City School Buildings in the City of Fort Worth.

GLAZING: Replace all broken or out glass in all windows of all buildings (excepting
only basement windows of 7th ward school which are not to be glazed.)
All glass to be D.S.American free from imperfections, well sprigged and
back puttied. Repair sash and grames where necessary.

PLASTERING: Repair all bad places in plastering in all buildings, with 1st
class three coat work, relathing where necessary. Alaba stine all plastered
walls and ceiling (except in basements) in all buildings.
Tints to be approved by Committee on Public Schools of the City Council
of the City of Fort Worth.

REPAIRS TO INSIDE AND OUTSIDE BLINDS. Thoroughly repair all inside and
outside blinds and shutters on all buildingsm putting same into first
class condition.

PAINTING. Paint all outside woodwork, (including porch floors on all
buildings,) two coats of H.W.Johns Asbestos brand paint, or its equal in
the opinion of the City Engineer. Paint inside woodwork on sash and window
and door frames, two coats H.W?Johns Abestos brand of equal paint, in 1st
2nd, 3rd, and 8th ward shools, and 3rd ward colored school, whereever paint
is badly frayed or worn off; not otherwise.

Refinish sash and window frames inside, at High School, 4th, 6th, 7th, and
9th ward schools, same quality and character of hard oil finish as original
where needed by reason of wearandtear. Also outside surface of outside dors,
Paint all inside woodwork ofthe6th ward school, (except two east rooms where
no painting is necessary.), two coat work as above specified, also East Room
8th ward school,: Treads of stairs not to be painted
Repair weatherboarding on all wooden buildings previous to painting .
Repair also all uncound places in floorsof rooms halls and porches all
building. Also all steps, stairs and calsters; also all roof leaks so as
to leave roofs prefectly right. (this leak clause does not apply to 4th
6th, 7th, and 9th ward schools nor high school.)
