BLACKBOARDS. All blackboards in all buildings to be thoroughly repaired
wherever damaged, and recoated with same character and quality liquid
slating as orginial.

MISCELLANEOUR REPAIRS. (IN addition to the above).

1st Ward School. Paint rood gutters and downspouts and all outside metal
work two coats H.J.Johns Asbestos brand paint, repairing all metal work
wherever necessart before painting.

2nd Ward School. Paint roods, gutters and downspouts and all outside metal
work two coats H.W.Johns Asbestos brand paint, remove the remains of font
fence, and repair rear fences in a substantial manner replacing allmissing
or rotton boards , stringers and posts.

Repair lattice between all foundation piers and replace those missing so
as to inclose space underneath building. Lattice to be of same character
and quality as original. Paint old lattice two coat work, and new lattice
three coat work. Repair roofs of closets so as to make them tight, also
other woodwork so as to put closets in good conditions paint closets two
coats work outside except roofs.

3rd Ward School.

3rd Ward Colored School. Repair fence on girl's sideand between girl's and
boy's side in same manner as specified for rear fence 2nd ward school.
Remove remains of lattice between foundation piers.

4th Ward School. After reglazing basement wondows place screens over all
of them Scerrns to have substantial wooden frames; mesh of screens to be
3/8 inch # 16 guage galvanized wire.

5th Ward School.

6th Ward School. Place a line of transoms clear across wooden partition
dividing room numer 8 from hall, each transon shall have sash and frame
according to detail furnished by City Engineer. Each transom shall have
two lights 18x 24 and shall be provided with approved lift.

7th Ward School.

8th Ward School. Seal inside of east vestibule with same character and
quality of matched ceiling as in adjacent room. Straighten up foundation
where drainage has undermined. Paint vestibule three coat work and
adjacent room two coat work H.W. L
