JOHN B. HAWLEY, HYDRAULIC ENGINEER. M. AM. SOC. C.E, CITY ENGINEER, FORT WORTH.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS, Nov 3d 1899.

Hon. the Mayor and City Council. City.

Gentlemen-

Attached hereto please find communications from Chief Engr. T. & P. Ry. as to Main St. crossing of the Road.

Also ordianance drawn by City Atty making the real estate transfers necessary to give the city the measured width.

This "swap" was suggested by me - so I believe the city is greatly the gainer thereby — and the City Atty concurs in the opinion.

Respectfully, John B. Hawley City Engr.
