To the Honorable City Counsel of the City of Ft. Worth.

Your petitioner, A.J. Roe, represents that by mistake,
he paid taxes on lot four (4), block one (1) Provine & Marple addition
for the years 1896-7-8 and 9. That he intended to pay taxes
on lot (4), block one (1) Provine Addition and that O.S. Latimore
has also paid taxes on the same lot for the same years, making
double payment. Your petitioner therefore requests that in as much
as the city has already received taxes which were intended to have
been paid on lot for (4), block one (1) Provine Addition, that
the taxes on said lot be cancelled.
