To the Honorable, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas:

You petitioner respectfully represent that the health of the citizens living on Jennings Avenue and Grainger Streets, near the points of intersection of same unknown word with Oleander Street, is endangered because of there being no sewer adjacent to their property with which they can connect, and that they are otherwise greatly inconvenienced by reason thereof.

The City Engineer informs your petitioners that a connection can be made with the sewer at the intersection of May and Oleander Streets, and can be brought thence West along Oleander Street to a point midway between Hemphill and May Streets.

Your petitioners are very desirous of having said sewer constructed along the route indicated, and respectfullyask that the same be ordered done at the earliest time practicable, and as in duty bound your petitioners will ever pray, etc.

Hon. Mayor and City Council.

Gentlemen:-

We, your committee on Sewers, to whom was referred the attached petition, asking for a sewer on Oleander street, beg to report that upon petitioners depositing with the Secretary of Water Works unknown word a sum of money equal to 2o cents per foot for the length of said sewer latteral asked for, to pay for laying such latteral, credit for with sum shall be given severally for petitioners on books of the water works department against prospective water rent charges, the city shall furnish sewer pipe and specials and the city engineer shall proceed to unknown word construct said latterals.

We, your Sewr Committee, to whom was referred the attached petition beg to recommend that the ditch be thoroughly cleaned at once, and that it be paved with cobble stones, at a cost not to exceed $I00.00 as per estimate of City Engineer.
