Gentlemen; -

It uas become necessary to pain the stand pipe to protect it from rust therefore I most respectfully ask that I be allowed to have the same painted with two coats of lead and oil at an estimated cost of $I50.00

BID FOR EIGHTH WARD SCHOOL HOUSE.

I will build the 8th. ward scool building on to the end of present building, for the sum of $400. exactly like present building and same size except the picture mould, or I will build the building seperate from the present building for the sum of $425. or will put in volentine black-boards for $440. or my kind for $425.

Therefore be it resolved by the City Council that we do hereby extend ^to Mr. Jno. B.
