To the Honorable City Council:

We, the undersigned property owners residing or owning property on Cannon Avenue, between Henderson Street and Sixth Avenue, respectfully petition your honorable body to contract with L.J. Hawkins for the graveling of the above named Cannon Avenue; after said street has been graded by the CIty, to be graveled 30 feet in width, gravel to be nine inches in the middle and three inches on the outer edges the undersigned to pay for the same at the rate of eighteen and sixty one-hundredths cents per lineal foot for each abutting foot of our respective property, the City of Fort Worth to pay for the intersections and eighteen and sixty one-hundredths cents for each lineal foot, making a total of fifty-five and eighty one-hundredths cents per lineal foot.

To the Honorable City Council,

Gentlemen:

I have been notified that I owe to the city taxes on personal property. Of this property I have no knowledge therefore think the tax unjust and ask that it be cancelled.
