To the Hon. Mayor and City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Tx.

Gentlemen!

I herewith beg leave to submit to your honorable body the following petition for rebate:

I reside in the City of Fort Worth and am engaged in the Retail_ Liqour Business on the corner of Calhoun and Twelfth Street.

I paid to the City of Fort Worth for occupation tax as Retail Liqour Dealer the sum of One hundred and fifty Dollars for the period of one year, beginning November 28th 1902 and ending November 27_ 1903. I afterwarded paid to the City of Fort Worth for occupation taxes retail liqour dealer the sum of One Hundred and fifty Dollars for the period of one year, beginning June 15th 1903 and ending June 14/ 1904, both times the occupation tax paid, was for the same place of

business, Corner Calhoun and Twelfth Sts, City of Fort Worth.

I have thus paid to the City of Fort WOrth for my occupation tax as retail liquor dealer twice for the period of June 15/1903 till November 27th includes 1903, or for a period of 166 days.

At the rate paid to the City, towit $150.00 per year. I have overpaid the City the sum of $68.21 Sixty-eight 21/100 dollars and I now very respectfully petition your honorable body to grant one a rebate of the amount of $68.21, to be deducted from the amount due the City for my next occupation tax as retail liquor dealer, beginning on June 15th 1904.
