To the Honorable Mayor and City Council:
Gentlemen:-
There are three peices of apparatus in the Department which in my opinion should be protected with fire insurance.
Our switch-board and battery which cost $2,250.00 and our four circuit repeater, which cost $800.00.
This apparatus is part of the fire alarm system and all in Central Fire Station.
I am informed that the risk can be carraid for about three per cent, for five years.

I have discovered that the person or persons owning the property at North-West Corner of Magnolia and May Streets have set their fence many feet out into the street.
Please notify them to move said fence back to property lines. Please also make notation of service on back hereof, and file same with City Secretary.
