To His Honor the Mayor and the Honorable City Council of the
City of Fort Worth.

Gentlemen:-

Your petitioners, Messrs. Kuhen & Uglow, Successors
to the Sapera Bottling Company would most respectfully ask your
honorable body to grant them permission to erect a stand or
building in the City Park for the purpose of furnishing ice
cream, lemonade, and soda water to the general public. Your
petitioners would state that they will erect a neat and handsome
refreshment stand not to cost less than One Hundred and Fifty
Dollars, and they would promise to conduct their business that it
will be of great benefit, attractive and accommodating to
the public.

Your petitioners ask that the rights and privileges
herein petitioned for be granted to them for a period of two
years next issuing from this date, and if said privileges be
granted, your petitioners reserve the right to remove the stand
or building, which they erect at the end of said term of two
years, if said lease should not be renewed, and if renewed then
to have the right to remove such stand or building at the end
of the said renewal of the lease.

Your petitioners hereby offer as consideration for
the grant of the foregoing privileges, that they will erect along
the North side of the said City Park a suitable wire fence, and 1200 ft.
gates at the entrance of said park, the fence to be subject to the approval
of the Public Grounds Committee.

Very respectfully,
Kuhen & Uglow.

We your public grounds committee recommend
that the above proposition be accepted.
