Form 1180. D2
FORT WORTH PASSENGER STATION
C. D. LUSK, STATION MASTER AND TICKET AGENT.
Fort Worth, Texas, 10/31 1905
Mayor and City Council of Fort Worth Tx
Gentlemen
My Taxes for the yaer 1902 was rendered to the Assessor including personal property and pole Tax. This sheet is on file in the office of City Assessor & Collector W J Gilvin. When receipt was filled out for 1902 I find the personal and pole Tax was not included. I paid my Taxes promptly as bill rendered by G.H. Day. Now, three years after comes a bill from Collector Gilvin for personal & pole tax for 1903 with penalty of $1.65. After examining my Tax Receipt for the year 1902 I find that I owe for personal and pole tax but the penalty of $1.65 I will never pay unless ordered to do so by the Council. as it was no fault of mine that my taxes were not all paid at teh time. I herewith enclose you bill and receipt. Kindly return them to me with your decision
