Resolution

WHEREAS, that part of Hampton Street lying south of
the south line of East Second Street, and north of the north line
of East Third Street, and between Blocks 21 and 22 of the Moore
& Thornton Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas has been
closed and vacated as public street or thoroughfare, its use
as public street or thoroughfare no longer being necessary or
needful to the public: and

WHEREAS. L. L. Hawes is the abutting property owner on
the west side of that part of the street hereby vacated and
closed, and the Fort Worth & Denver City Railway Company is the
abutting property owner on the east side of such part of said
street: and

WHEREAS, the Fort Worth & Denver City Railway Company
proposes to waive its right to any part of the street so vacated
to L. L. Hawes and whereas the said L. L. Hawes proposes paying
the City of Fort Worth the sum of Three Hundred Twenty-five and
00/100 Dollars for a Quit claim deed from the City of Fort Worth to its
interest in said street.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commis-
sioners of the City of Fort Worth, that upon the payment of the
sum of Three Hundred Twenty-five 00/100 Dollars to the said
City of Fort Worth by the said L. L. Hawes, the Mayor is hereby
authorized, in the name of and for the said City of Fort Worth,
to execute to the said L. L. Hawes a quit claim deed, without warranty, for
the property herein described.
