Fort Worth, Texas, 10/21/07.

Hon. Lee Stevens,
Commissioner, City.

Dear Sir:-

I beg to confirm telephone advice given Mr. Nunnally this
morning to the effect that the municipal rate of 20 cents per ton
on Coal, minimum 30 tons per car for the City of Ft.Worth from Ft.Worth
to Powell's Spur, has been authorized by the Railroad Commission,
effective today, October 21st.

As suggested to Mr. Nunnally, if you receive any cars of
coal that contain less than 60,000 lbs., it would be well to unload
them here and let only cars having 60,000 lbs. or more go to Powell's
Spur for the reason that if any cars of less than 30 tons are sent out
there you would be required to pay on 30 tons any way.

Yours truly,

U. S. Pawkett
