on oath that the Fort Worth Star is
a daily newspaper, printed in Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and
that the notice, of which a copy, with
bill, appears on the attached paper
hereto, was published in said news-
paper on Oct 3-4-5-6-7

ORDER OF BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON REPORT OF COMMISSIONER ON STREETS
[AND PUBLIC GROUNDS CONCERNING TH]E PAVEMENT OF BROADWAY STREET
[FROM
AND AND REQUIRING PROP]ERTY OWNERS TO COMPLY THEREWITH

[It is hereby ordered that th]e report and recommendation of Commis-
[sioner Davidson with reference t]o accepting the proposition of the
[property owners on Broadway Stre]et for the pavement of said street from
[South Main to Jennings Avenue , b]e adopted and that the said proposition
[of said property owners be accep]ted and that the City of Fort Worth pro-
[ceed at the earliest date practi]cable to construct said pavement as
[petitioned for and as recommende]d and that the said pavement be constr-
[ucted of rock asphalt laid upon] a concrete base made according to plans
[and specifications as appears up]on pages 549 - 550 of Book R of the
[minutes of the Board of Commissi]oners of the City of Fort Worth; and it
[is further provided that the City] construct said pavement including the
foundation at and for the sum of $1.50 per square yard and that each
respective property owner or owners be required to pay for the number of
square yards in front of his or their respective properties at said rate
and that each property owner who has not a sufficient curb in front
of his or her property be required to construct the same and that the
City of Fort Worth pay the whole of the expense of curb around park or
parks in the center of said street as shown on the plat or map on file
with said petition in the office of the City Secretary and that the City
of Fort Worth at its own cost pave all street intersecctions and in front
of alleys abutting on said Broadway Street.

And it is further ordered that all persons owning property fronting
on said street and who have not joined in said proposition be and they
are hereby required to construct pavement and curbing in front of their
said respective property or properties according to the plans and speci-
fications and of the material herein mentioned and it is further ordered
that this order be published once a day for ten days in the official
newspaper to-wit: the Fort Worth Star, in order that due notice may be
given hereof and that objection to this order may be filed by any prop-
erty owner on or before the first regular meeting of the Board of Commis-
sioners after the final publication of this order.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing order was duly presen-
ted and unanimously passed by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Fort Worth at a session held October 1st, 1907.
