[overlaid by clipping] Commissioners, the matter of paving Broadway Street
[overlaid by clipping] Street to South Jennings Ave., in accordance with the
[overlaid by clipping] the property owners as heretofore presented and
[overlaid by clipping]wn by order made on Oct. 1, 1907, as appears on
[overlaid by clipping]73 of the minutes of the proceedings of this Board
[overlaid by clipping]g that no protest or objection to said order or to
[overlaid by clipping] of said pavement has been filed and it further
[overlaid by clipping]blication of said order was duly made in the offici-
[overlaid by clipping] the city, to-wit: The Fort Worth Star, once a day
[overlaid by clipping] provided by ordinance; and upon further consideration
[overlaid by clipping] for said paving and the advantage to abutt-
[overlaid by clipping]s in constructing the pavement as mentioned in said
[overlaid by clipping] and it appearing to the Board of Commissioners
[overlaid by clipping]t will enhance the price of and increase the value
[overlaid by clipping] abutting on said street in a sum greater than the
[overlaid by clipping]ement, and that such increase of value and price
[overlaid by clipping]eby on each piece, lot and parcel of said abutting
[overlaid by clipping]ely.
[overlaid by clipping]herefore hereby ordered that the parties owning pro-
[overlaid by clipping]aid street, and especially those who did not join
[overlaid by clipping]sition, construct said pavement of the material
[overlaid by clipping] mentioned and referred to in said order of Oct. 1st,
[overlaid by clipping] to be done in front of their respective properties
within 90 days from the date of this order, and that this order
be published in the official newspaper of the City, to-wit: The
Fort Worth Star; once a week for four consecutive weeks, and further
ordered that if any one owning property abutting on said street
fail to comply with this order that the said pavement be constructed
as in such cases made and provided, and the costs thereof assessed
against the abutting property and against the owner of the property
as a personal debt, as provided by charter and ordinance of the City
of Fort Worth.
I hereby certify that the foregoing order was duly presented and unan-
imously passed by the board of commissioners of the city of Fort Worth
at a session held Oct 29th, 19o7.

WAY STREET AND REQUIRING
SAID STREET TO BE PAVED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH ORDER
HERETOFORE MADE BY THE
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS.
And now at this time coming on
for further consideration by the
Board of Commissioners, the matter
of paving Broadway street from
South Main street to South Jennings
avenue, in accordance with the prop-
osition of the property owners, as
heretofore presented and accepted as
shown by order made on Oct. 1, 1907,
as appears on pages 572 and 573 of
the minutes of the proceedings of
this board, and it appearing that no
protest or objection to said order or
to the construction of said pavement
has been filed and it further appear-
ing that the publication of said order was
duly made in the official newspaper
of the city, to-wit: The Fort Worth
Star, once a day for ten days, as pro-
vided by ordinance; and upon further
consideration of the necessity for
said paving and the advantage to
abutting property owners in con-
structing the pavement as mentioned
in said order of Oct. 1, and it appear-
ing to the Board of Commissioners
that said pavement will enhance the
price of and increase the value of the
property abutting on said street in a
sum greater than the cost of said
pavement, and that such increase of
value and price will be made thereby
on each piece, lot and parcel of said
abutting property respectively.
It is therefore hereby ordered that
the parties owning property abutting
on said street, and especially those
who did not join in the said propo-
sition, construct said pavement of
the material and in the manner men-
tioned and referred to in said order
of Oct. 1st, or cause the same to be
done in front of their respective
properties within 90 days from the
date of this order, and that this or-
der be published in the official news-
paper of this city, to-wit: The Fort
Worth Star, once a week for four
consecutive weeks, and further or-
dered that if any one owning prop-
erty abutting on said street fail to
comply with this order that the said
pavement be constructed as in such
cases made and provided, and the
costs thereof assessed against the
abutting property and against the
owner of the property as a personal
debt, as provided by charter and or-
dincne of the City of Fort Worth.
