To the Honorable City of Fort Worth:

With this I hand you your city occupation
tax receipt No. 7459 to R. T. Hatcher, authorizing
the carrying on by him of liquor business for one year
beginning Oct. 18, 1907, the unearned portion from
this date being the sum of $176.70.

I call your attention to Section 7, Chap-
ter CXXXVIII regulating sale of intoxicating liquors
according to the acts of the last Legislature, which
provides that when license is sold under mortgage
that the purchaser shall havethe right to surrender
to the city issuing the tax receipt and receive there-
for the pro rata unearned portion of such license, and
I have to advise you that this property has been sold
under mortgage given by Mr. Hatcher through default
made by him in payment of indebtedness secured by
mortage on same and that the purchaser is J. E. Dren-
del.

your earliest convenience, and oblige,
