To the Hon. Mayor & Board
of City Commissioners:-

Gentlemen:

We will do the excavating to a depth of 10
inches: perform all labor, and furnish all the material for
paving streets advertised as amounting to 106,000 square yards,
for the sum of $2.05 per square yard.

We will use #1 McAlester vitrified brick. said
work to be done under the supervision of the City Engineer, and in
accordance with the plans furnished by the said Engineer.

As each block is completed the same shall be
passed upon his approval payments
for such completed work shall be due and payable.

We further agree if awarded said contract
to commence work within 10 days thereafter, and complete the same
on or before December 31st, 1908 unless delayed by causes beyond
our control.
