Gentlemen:
I return herewith the communication of Kindel-Clark Drug Co., asking for an additional amount of six dollars on refund of Wholesale Liquor License.
I can only say, that they were treated as all the other liquor dealers were, both wholesale and Retail.
The unused portion of their license amounted to one hundred and twenty dollars.
I deducted the Collector's Commission of Six dollars, as instructed by your Honorable body, at the beginning of the refund.

Ordinance No . . . . . . . .
An ordinance ammending Section 438, Chapter II on page 241 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Fort Worth as codified by Wm. D. Williams and T.J. Powell, so as to permit the firing, exploding and setting off of squibs, direcrackers, torpedos, roman candles, skyrockets and other like explosives by a person upon his own private premises or upon the private premises of any other person consenting thereto, provided that the same shall not be so directed or exploded as to go across upon or over or along any public street, alley or public ground or across,over or upon the premises of any other person not consenting thereto.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH:
Sec. 1. That the prohibitions of the use of explosives as made and set forth in Section 438, Chapter II on page 241 of the Revised ordinances of the City of Fort Worth as codified by Wm. D. Williams and T. J. Powell be and the same are hereby so modified and restricted as that they shall not apply to the firing, exploding or setting off of squibs, firecrackers, torpedos, roman candles, skyrockets or other like explosives upon the private premises of the one so firing, exploding or setting off the same nor upon the private premises of another person giving consent thereto: provided such firing, exploding or setting off be so done as to not direct or project the same across or over or upon or along any public sidewalk in said City, or across or upon or over or along any public grounds in said City.
Sec. 2. That the said Section 438 in so far as the same is inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed but in so far as the same is not inconsistent with the provisions hereof the same is and shall remain in full force and effect.
Sec. 3. That this ordinance be in effect from and after its passage.
