Gentlemen:

I hand you herewith statement showing
expenditures that I have been compelled to make by instruc-
tions of City Engineer.

To wit:

Also,

	$167.80

Above curbing and walk was in good repair and was put
down according to grade and instructions of our City Engineer
some years ago, and I paid $5.00 for grade.
Your honorable body stated that I was about 6ft. 6 inches
too far in the street and to comply with your orders I
was compelled to pay out the above amount to Puckett &
Wear, Constractors, for replacing walk and curbing.
Therefore, ask that you refund me the above amount.
