ORDER OF BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON REPORT OF COMMISSIONER ON STREETS AND PUBLIC GROUNDS CONCERNING THE PAVEMENT OF RUSK STREET AND REQUIRING ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS TO COMPLY THEREWITH.
The report of the Commissioner of Streets and public grounds recommending that Rusk Street from the south line of Weatherford Street to the N orth line of 17th Street should be paved with vitrified brick pavement, this day coming on to be heard and the Board of Commissioners thereupon and also upon their own motion having carefully considered the necessity and advantage of paving said sections of said street in the manner requested, and it appearing to the Board of Commissioners that there is a public necessity for the paving of said portions of said streets with said material and it further appearing that the paving of said street will increase the value of the property abutting upon said portion of said streets respectively,in a sum equal to or greater than the cost of constructing said pavement in front of the respective properties abutting on said streets,and the property of all street and steam railway company's owning tracks and franchises on said street. It is hereby ordered that the owners of the property abutting on said sections of said streets and the owners of all street and steam railway company's occuping and being upon any portion of said street and they are respectively called upon to construct said improvement in front of their respective properties abutting on said street, and that they construct said pavement in accordance with the said specifications are recorded on book page 515,516,517, 518,519,520, 521, 522 and 523 of book R of the minutes and proceedings of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Ft. Worth.
And it is further ordered that the Citizens' Railway & Light Company and The Northern Texas Traction Company and the Texas & Pacific Railway Company be and they are thereupon called upon to construct said improvement on that part of said street being the space between the rails and tracks of said street and said steam railway company's respectively and 18 inches on the outside of the railes situated on said street whereon they have street car tracks
