ORDER OF BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS CONCERNING THE PAVEMENT OF COOPER STREET AND REQUIRING SAID STREET TO BE PAVED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORDER HERETOFORE MADE BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Whereas, heretofore on January 15th, 1908 the Board of Commissioners made an order for the pavement of Cooper Street from teh west line of 6th, Ave. to the east line of 8th, Ave. with what is known as Rock Asphalt pavement according to specifications referred to in said order and whereas, the said order was duly entered of record on page 26 and 27 of Book S of the minutes of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth, and said order was duly published in the official paper of the City of Fort Worth for the period required by Ordinance No. 28 passed by the Board of Commissioners , and whereas, no party nor parties owning property upon said section of said street has filed protest against the pavement thereof in the manner and of the material proposed and wheras, it now appears to the Board of Commissioners that there is a necessity for paving said street with said pavement and that the value of property abutting on said street will be enhanced in a sum equal to the cost of the improvement made by said pavement in front of each piece of property abutting thereon;
It is therefore, hereby ordered by the Board of Commissioners that the property owners owning the property abutting upon said sections of said Cooper Street construct said pavement in front of their respective properties so fronting upon said street within 30 days from this date and that the same be constructed of what is known as Rock Asphalt pavement and that the same be constructed according to the specifications mentioned in the order above referred to which specifications are recorded on pages 549 and 550 of Book R of the minutes of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth and that this order be published in the official newspaper of the City of Fort Worth once a week for four consective weeks.
I hereby certify that the foregoing order was duly presented and unanimously passed by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth at a session held March 24th, 1908.
