Fort Worth, Texas, March 10th, 1908.
Whereas the City of Fort Worth is short of funds to meet the current expense from now until the next tax paying season and
Whereas the commissioner of Finance and Revenue has negotiated a loan from Mr. J. E. Barron, in the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars,
Therefore be it resolved that the Mayor and City Secretary be authorized and instructed to execute a note of the City of Fort Worth in favor of said J. M. Barron in the sum of ten Thousand Dollars bearing date March 4th, 1908, to become due October 1st after date and bearing interest at the rate of 7 % per annum from maturity covering loan as set out above. and same to be paid out of the taxes accruing and to be collected for the year 1908.
