Board of Commissioners, Ft. Worth, Tex.,
Gentlemen:
With reference to the election proclamation which is running in the Star, we beg to submit the suggestion that this project is one of such vast importance that this advertising really ought to appear in all of the daily papers of this city. The Telegram is reaching more than twice as many people as either of the other Ft. Worth papers reach and we believe you should give this suggestion your careful consideration.
Thanking you, we beg to remain,
Yours truly, THE FT. WORTH TELEGRAM Co.

March 25, " 1908. Fort Worth. Texas.
To the Honorable Board of Commissioners of Fort Worth, and to the Honorable Sam Davidson, Street Commissioner.
Gentlemen:
We, the undersigned citizens and property owners abutting on Pennsylvania Avenue, respectively petition your Honorable body not to pave Pennsylvania Avenue in front of their property at the present time as they believe owing to the recent panic and the condition of affairs resulting therefrom, that times are too hard for such work at this time, that it would be better to defer such action until times get better and money easier.
That the street is already in good condition, never gets muddy, drains well, and they are perfectly satisfied with it in its present condition, and they therefore respectively ask your Honorable body not to pave it at this time.
