FORT WORTH, TEXAS, March, 28th, 08.
TO THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, CITY OF FORT WORTH.
Gentlemen:
I wish to ask your honorable body that I be allowed to be absent from the city from May 10th to May 20th, 1908.
This absense is for the purpose of visiting my Mother and sisters whom I have not seen for three years. I will have in my place Dr. J. W. Balke, who has been for the past year house surgeon in St. Josephs Infirmary. Dr. Balke is reliable and in case and doubtful cases arise, Dr. Barber has consented to help him out in the proper course he should persue
Hoping this arrangement will meet with your approval I am,
Very respectfully yours,
Solon Milton, M.D.
