At 5:00 AM Mame and I up after seei'g the old year go out at midnight. At depot and at 8:00 AM Mrs Ida Case came and we went home and had breakfast. At home all day as it was too cold to ride out. At office working

Heavy Rain all day and [ ? ] cold. At office all day

at office. Worked hard on accts [?] us, and also had 2 [?] cases one so[?] pleading guilty and the other (craft) set for 10

Mame brot my supper and I finished acct and had attack of grippe-- now [?] took her [?]

an hour. Suffered much last night and had head ache this morning. Took phenaadrin and stopped it

In afternoon was [?] main [?] I made out to [?] passing McAlliston and wife [?] [?] and Virginia Burrows down in the bathroom

At night took another hot foot bath by[?] grown [?] and [?] Dovers powders

Raining more or less all day and shall be very muddy.
