Dear Dedie and all:

My gracious, we have been waiting and wondering why you don't write, if you have all moved to Atascadero where it is so fine, you don't remember your relations any more or, if you are sick, so what can the matter be? Mama wrote to you in March and I went by early in May one Saturday morning with friends in their auto but didn't see any of you

2. out and didn't want to ask them to stop. We were going up to Saw Pit Canyon. Had a lovely time. Last Sunday afternoon, I was out riding and we would have gone up to see you, but I didn't know whether you would be home or not and I thought I had better write first.
