would be agreeable to her for you to have the janitor work if it would suit Mr. O'Callahan well. I told her I'd heard Mr. O'C. had said he would like for Mr. Grandy to have the job. She said she would let me know in few days or see me again soon. Grand Ma O'Callahan has told me several times that Harry O'C. had several times, said, he would like so well for you to have the job but he didn't know how it would be with Mrs. H. on account of Mr. Harry H. having said he might want it.

So stay where you are until Mr. Webb sends for you and until we see how things are going to open up here for us staying another year.

What amount are you paying on property monthly and could we keep them up if you should only make 75.00 per mo.? School job may be less this year for all I know but spect you could sandwich in carpenter work too.

Mr. Webb saw widow about 160 acres up near Peardale and she said for "$20.00 she would give a 60-day option. he said he thot he could sell it soon if he could get at it before weather gets hot & drives up everything. Ought to have got it little soon. Said spring & winter are best times to sell. They offered to take me up some day if I wanted to see the land & country. Said if we'd start early some A.M., we could make trip in one day. They want to go up anyway for a company who have 1000 acres or more. Offered him $25.00 per for selling their subdivision acreage for them so I may try it some day soon before Daisy Bell is fresh. I wouldn't be afraid to take the option without seeing it.

Mr. Webb is anxious to make a little money right away, quick. They are getting fidgety about being so unsettled & no work. I believe they are a no. 1 people. If we don't move up there, I wish we could go up

and stay for wk. more or less. Wonder if all the "housekeeping tents" are engaged for the convention? It would be fine for us all to spend a wk. there wouldn't it? Well, I hope we will be able to decide in another wk. what we will and can do.
