1915 Ocean Font Santa Monica

Oct. 9, 1912

Mr G. J Granday Dear Sir: The 160 acre reluinquishment, about 40 miles north of Los Angeles, 3 miles from the ocean, is best reached by wagon road through Calabasas, but one must go by trail about a mile, at the least. There is a good spring on the land which is largely mountainous, with perhaps 30 to 40 acres that are tillable, about 11 miles to railway, one may be located on the land for $150, the locator to pay expenses of the trip and filing fee of $16 at the land office. Good for bees, stock, & c. Mr. June Recher, 217 Temple St, opposite Court House, Los Angeles, can give further particulars and accompany investigation to the place. Yours truly, Mrs. Bowers
