rent. The [Japs, Jeffs ?] pay 25.00 twenty five
dollars per year rent for land with
no improvements and are glad to
get anything at any price, so
don't think there's much chance
to rent a place. Land is becoming
more valuable in this section
and I only wish I had a home
here. I like it more and more
+ think I'll soon be up this way.

Well, I lost my cow and it
certainly makes me feel blue.

I heard Mrs. Zella was at the
Anaheim Sanatarium. Had
an operation. She is doing nicely.
Her mother lives there. Well it's
now 5 minutes of midnight and I
can scarcely hold my eyes open.
Will try + do better when there's more
time and conditions are better.
