My dear Mrs. Grandy:

We were so glad to get yours and Helen's letters and I hope it will not be long before you make us a visit. It will not be safe for you to surprise us for we have a few friends to visit yet and you might have your trip for nothing. Send us on and two or three days, before hand, so that we will be sure and get it. Berrie takes her Agriculture Tuesday and Friday. Any other day will be all right that you can come. Get round trip tickets and be

sure and get transfers north on Fair Oaks. Transfers at Oneonta and tell the conductor you want to get off at Monterey. He may not get around, as it's only a few blocks, if he does not go to him, or he may carry you by. Go east on Monterey till you get to Milan. Ours is the second house from the northeast corner.

to influence the other teachers, but did not succeed very long. Bess was glad to get out of that building and we are glad to be out from under the whole bunch of trustees. Dr. Jacobs has no backbone to stand up for what he wants. I washed my hair and it is dry now and I must get it combed. I was at Long Beach a few days ago to see one of my Arizona friends. Tomorrow, we are going to Balboa to stay over Sunday with Harry and family, They have rented a cottage for two weeks. Are spending his vacation there. Next week, Saturday our Genila Ariz Picnic will be at Eastlake Park and, of course, we want to be there. Wednesday and Thursday, we will be at home. Sincerely, Mrs Archibald.
