Dear Grandy: Sat 8 A.M.
Read your nice letter last night. Delighted to hear from you. Had been looking for Daddy or a letter. I've got a job. I guess they will start Monday on one of them. Were clearing the location yesterday, a two-story house, other one is a mansion. Small place & lots of other jobs under way. Coming up, I am even drawing the plans for my residence. so I will want some plants from you. I will tell you more about it next time. Gee, it is cold these mornings. Bring the tent outfit. Think you should come up when school is out, for Daddy will have work all summer. I am tickled (to) death, over the pet you are sending. I know it is one of Bess' pups. I'll bet they are cute. Have not found my cat yet. Mr. Hunter sends regards. My deal have not come thru yet. Hope they will soon. Yes, tell Dad to take Atas, but I told him about Daddy. If I am not home, the key is on a board above screen door. back porch. Go right in. Make yourself at home & I will soon be there. Yes, I think Daddy should be on the ground when a job starts or he can got on before the whole crew is on. But suit yourself. I wish I could talk to you. Sorry, the girls are grunty.
