Dearest Family:
Writing this note from the
main P.O. in Anchorage so
see how fast time it makes.
Have started you a letter to
answer questions & etc, but
meantime, this will let
you know we're O.K., tho
still smothered in dust. So
few streets paved, & so much
construction of all types
everwhere keep the air
filled with dust. Our weather
is good, foggy last 2 days.
Hope it rains again soon.
[Coops], sinus hasn't bothered
him since I arrived. Have
had to attend 2 lunches & 2
teas yet this week. I press a
dress, take it off & back into the
footlockers. Love,
