Dearest family:

Seems you're having
nice summer wea. again w/temp
of 85° in L.A. Still a little chilly here,
but beautiful after about a nice 3"
snow fall which helped the dogs &
mushers in their last day of racing.
Very exciting & a person could love
every dog racing & still feel so sorry
for them. Sending you the
official "fur rendezvous" program.
Coop didn't get to see any of the
races, etc. Taking part in this
"north star maneuver," entire
base is, so he's working overtime
since the wea. is such a vital part.
Guess wot? Corky wrote & wants to
visit us this summer! We have no
place for her here in our tiny apt.
& it will be probably June or July
before we move onto the base &
I do want to make it home in
Aug. for the 50th, so don't know wot
to tell Corky. More later.
