their new home and it is a beauty

Edwin and Rita are living in the
old place. Joe's father is better than he
has been for some time The Co. gave
him a vacation. I wrote to Aunt Laura
as soon as I came home and have
not heard from her yet. It will be
a long time before I write again.
I have been putting up fruit.
Put up 20 bottles of ketchup, Tuesday
and six quarts of spiced figs.,
[Thurs ?]. I have up Damson and Satsuma
plums and blackberries and peaches.
Haven't canned my tomatoes yet.
Had our walk put in around
the house and have a man,
here now, putting in the lawn.
The Jones Family from Pittsburg are
moving out here this month.
The grandmother has been here for
years and has been staying with
her other grandson, (Mr [Acill ?] ), who
