Dear ones at home:
Recived, [sic], your letter of Sun. and Mon. this eve. I was not down to P.O. last night. I'm working now, so far from P.O., that I don't have time to go and get mail till it is too, [sic], late. Mr. Franks goes now. I'm glad you had such a nice time at the picnic. Would like to of been there too.

2) I was bringing a very nice man now. He has got his family here. Are from Ventura. They were here last June doing conventions. Mr. Balderson is his name. They are very nice people. Got two girls, 12 twelve and 14 fourteen years old. Well, Mr Frances and the other star border have gone downtown to see a one horse show of some kind. Don't know what

it is like. I did think I would go, but am pretty tired, so, [????], at home. I would like to be at home, the 2 second to vote, but guess I can't. Have not got money enough to come with. Wish you all were here to see the pretty wild flowers. The ground is just covered with so many diferent kinds, you can't walk with stepping on some every time you step.

Guess you will think this is a short letter for I can't think of much to write. Have got the blues. I'm just discouraged about trying to get a place I could call home. Everything seems to go the long way all the time.
Well, It is 8:30. Guess I will go to bed. Will try and write more next time.
