Thursday
My dear Miss Hartzeel:
I went this afternoon to see about the boarding place for you which I wrote of. I think it will be just the place for you, as far as I could tell. It is on the right side of Coulther, going back from the main, just opposite of Lukis Graveyard. So it is nice and open. It is one of a high row of houses. Mrs. Henry will remember. I saw Mrs. Cameron. At present, there is no one boarding here and her daughter is out with a case.

You can share Miss Cameron's room. The 2nd story front for $4.50 a week or have a room by yourself on 3rd floor for $5.00 a week, $1.00 a week when you are out. She seemed a real nice sort of a woman, with a good face. Her husband is living, and she has only two daughters, one the nurse, and a younger one. She said they had good plain meals, and when I spoke of cleanness, she said, "Oh yes, all the nurses want things clean." The place is registered as a home for nurses and last week,

there were four doctors there looking for a nurse. So you see, this would be a great advantage to you. I could not ask to see the rooms as she was house cleaning, but the parlor looked neat and plain. There is a lady who wants two of her rooms for a month or so and is about deciding. So you will have to send word as soon as you can, if you care to go there and when it will be. I have told you all

I know, and I was very much pleased with the woman and the general look of things, and with the idea of your being right in a nest of nurses. Think it over and let me know. I suppose it won't be for a couple of weeks yet, but Mrs. Cameron ought to know as soon as possible, both on a/c of the other party, and if you take the room by yourself, she will have a few things to get. They have only been in the house since Feb., I think. I told her I would let her know definitely as soon as I heard from you. It is certainly a low board for a good home. Much love to sister.
